Terms of Service
Last updated: 12 May 2026
This is a working version while Volo is in active development. By using Volo you accept these terms; if you disagree with any part, please stop using the service and email us.
Who we are
Volo ("Volo", "we", "our") is a wedding-planning app and website operated from Spain. Contact: hello@voloapp.es.
What Volo does
Volo helps couples plan their wedding — guest list, RSVPs, seating, budget, menu, gift registry, music, photos, an AI planning assistant, and a public wedding page for sharing details with guests. Some features are still in development; we may add, change, or remove features as the product evolves.
Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to create an account.
- Use real contact info; don't impersonate anyone else.
- Keep your login details secure. Anything done from your account is your responsibility.
- You can invite a partner to share access to your wedding. They get equivalent permissions.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use Volo for anything illegal, harmful, or that infringes someone else's rights.
- Upload content (photos, names, etc.) without the right to do so.
- Try to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service.
- Send spam to your guest list (RSVP and notification features are for legitimate wedding communication).
- Use the AI assistant to generate harmful, harassing, or illegal content.
We may suspend or remove accounts that breach these rules.
Your content
You own the data and content you put into Volo — your wedding details, guest list, photos, notes, everything. You give us a limited licence to store, process and display it for the purpose of running the service for you. We don't claim ownership and we don't use it to train AI models.
When you publish a public wedding page or send an RSVP link, you're responsible for the information you make visible to the people you share it with.
Service availability
We work to keep Volo running smoothly, but the service is provided "as is". There's no uptime guarantee — outages can happen, third-party providers can have incidents, and we may take the service down for maintenance. Where possible we'll give notice in advance.
We're not a backup service. Keep your own copy of anything you can't afford to lose (e.g. export your guest list before the wedding).
Pricing and payments
Volo is currently free while in development. If we introduce paid plans we'll tell you before they apply to your account, and you'll always be able to keep using what you already have until your next planned renewal.
AI features
Volo includes an AI planning assistant powered by a third-party model. AI responses can be wrong, incomplete, or out of date — don't treat them as legal, medical, or financial advice. Treat the assistant as a helpful first draft, not a final answer.
Termination
You can close your account at any time by emailing hello@voloapp.es. We can suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, or if we shut down the service. If we close the service entirely we'll give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, Volo isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the service — for example, a missed RSVP because of an outage. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under Spanish or EU consumer law.
Changes to these terms
We'll update the "Last updated" date above when terms change and, for material changes, give notice in-app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the new version.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Spain. EU consumer protection rules that apply to you in your country of residence are unaffected.
